Do you want to learn how to make life better for animals living in the wild?
Animal Ethics spreads awareness of speciesism and promotes respect for all sentient beings, with a particular focus on wild animal suffering.
We are accepting applications for internships to help support this work. Our aims include finding possible ways to help animals in the wild and defending animals exploited by humans.
If you share our goals and want to improve your skills, please consider applying for one of our volunteer internships.
While working remotely on a flexible schedule, you will have the opportunity to improve your research, analytical, and communication skills and be part of a team committed to improving the lives of animals.

Remote, open to international candidates
Length
Negotiable, for at least 1 month, 8-25 hours per week

Projects offered
1. Communications
Helping with public relations and online outreach
2. Visual Media
Creating infographics, scientific illustrations, or video animations
3. Translations
Translating website pages into German, Danish, Italian, Chinese, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Romanian, or Swedish (no previous experience necessary, but you’ll be asked to complete a short translation test)
4. Research on sentience
Researching topics related to the sentience of vertebrates and invertebrates
5. Perspectives on global animal activism
Working on how to best approach animal activism in China and India
6. The legal situation of animals
Researching the legal situation of animals in different countries
7. Wild animal suffering 1: Scientific library
Compiling lists of scientific publications relevant to the study of wild animal suffering
8. Wild animal suffering 2: Literature reviews
Writing literature reviews on topics related to the study of wild animal suffering
9. Wild animal suffering 3: Case studies
Writing case studies about interventions aimed at reducing wild animal suffering
10. Wild animal suffering 4: Outreach program
Supporting outreach activities (e.g. developing databases, reaching out to potential stakeholders, organizing events) to raise concern about wild animal suffering and promote research on this topic

We are based in the USA, also work in Europe and Latin America, and are planning to expand to other places in the near future. Our materials are distributed internationally.
